Jordanalys AlvaIQ eDNA

eDNA-based soil intelligence — species-level biodiversity mapping for precision agriculture and land stewardship

What is AlvaIQ eDNA Analysis?

AlvaIQ eDNA is a cutting-edge environmental DNA analysis service that decodes the living soil ecosystem beneath your fields. By detecting and identifying the DNA traces left by bacteria, fungi, nematodes, invertebrates, and plant roots, it produces a comprehensive biodiversity map of your soil — revealing who lives there, in what abundance, and what that means for your land’s health and productivity.

What the analysis reveals:

Bacterial & fungal community composition · Mycorrhizal network density · Nematode diversity & trophic groups · Soil invertebrate biodiversity · Pathogen pressure indicators · Organic matter decomposer activity · Species richness index per soil horizon

How it works

Soil sampling — You collect soil cores from multiple locations across your field following our sampling protocol (kit provided).

Laboratory extraction — Our partner lab extracts and sequences all environmental DNA from the samples using next-generation sequencing.

Bioinformatic analysis — The AlvaIQ platform identifies and quantifies all detected species against validated reference databases.

Jordliv report — You receive a full biodiversity report with species maps, health indices, and agronomic recommendations tailored to your land.

Compatible with

Grain crops · Oilseed crops · Vegetable production · Orchards & vineyards · Grassland & pasture · Forestry · Conservation & rewilding projects
